ABB Ready-mixed concrete
ABB Ready-mixed concrete took the first steps in 1996 in the first central located in Braga.
In 2002 the company extended the radius of deliveries creating a central in Maia, located in the industrial zone. In the same year it was given the big step towards ISO 9001, where through APCER it was confirmed the accuracy patent in designing, developing and concrete production.
Seven years later, in 2007, it was acquired a new central of higher capacity and new facilities in Maia, specifically in Gueifães.
Despite the current market, the Department of Concrete has its own fleet, with 20 concrete transport vehicles and 3 pumping vehicles with lances ranges between 26m and 34m, as well as a laboratory equipped with advanced equipment in order to respond to all customer requests and to perform a rigorous control of all concrete produced and supplied.
The concrete compliance control is made in order to comply with EN206-1 defined of NP, the Portuguese Standards and applicable LNEC Specifications.
